What’s news in your world? 1$J has been a little quiet for a few days, you may have noticed that nothing happened since it last happened. Well I’ve not been well, I’ve also been away (okay I went away for one day). But I have missed you - I have missed you much and I’m thinking that I should probably come back and say g’day. G’day.
Now on to the competition for today. I realised recently that the news varies all over the world. I know, I know. Some stories can vary from ‘the bin on 1st street is on fire‘ to ‘a man has recently confessed he has kept his daughter in a secret set of rooms for 24 years - and his own wife didn’t know’. Which story is more news worthy?
You might think the bin on fire is less newsworthy - you might think the man in the second story is a bad bad man. But I don’t think either or more or less newsworthy. People keep their daughters locked up all the time!
What I want to hear from you is this - the news in your world today. It’s not a point of is your story more or less interesting, with 25 words or less competitions, your aim is to make it great! Creativity, poems, songs, funny rhymes, tricky endings, all of that contributes to the winner
