Your Family Traditions
It being my birthday yesterday, I enjoyed the Beeston family tradition of getting phone calls with people singing happy birthday at me. In fact - my brother-in-law Josh was the first person to call me. That’s not expected at all (usually just immediate family). He sang happy birthday and he was at work! I’m talking about an 18yr old guy who’s not known for his outward displays of softness. So I was mighty impressed.
In any case I really like the small traditional things that families have - even when they change over time. It adds a ‘family-ness’ to the day.
