Taking My Shoes Off & My Little Holiday

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

It’s strange that while I write this I’m in a mega rush - only half an hour from now I will be leaving to go on holidays for three days. That’s right! I’m going to the Hunter Valley - a wine producing region of New South Wales. So to tell you the winner in this post will be very quickly done!

Here’s a few of the entrants - what would you do at 5pm when you are angry, hungry and tired?

  • Buy windows vista, install it and laugh. Cause although am tired, hungry and feeling agitated, I consider myself Lucky am not as slow as Vista
  • I will till check your daily contest, probably participate there and hopefully then go to bed with the dream of next jackpot winner.
  • I would just get some coffee, lie down for a bit then go onto my laptop and check some mails and play a few games.
  • Hope the “Carne Asada Burrito Fairy” appears at the foot of my bed.
  • I’m going to play video games. Nothing takes away the boredom better.
  • Sadly either take a bath and relax or nag my husband into getting food.
  • If it’s 5 PM and I’m already tired and hungry, I’ll drink some 5 Redbulls! I start work at 6 PM!!!

Now for the winner Penny!

Take my shoes off, eat some chocolate and beat the crap out of an opponent in boxing on Wii sports.

Wow okay that really was fast - I put little to no effort into writing any of that. I hope you feel similarly about your reading it ;) I’d like to get a Wii and beat the crap out of time (so I could go backwards and fit a little bit more of it in).

This Blog Makes Me Angry

Friday, February 29th, 2008

It’s 5pm and after a busy day you’re tired, hungry and feeling agitated what are you going to do?

That’s today’s Jackpot. I’m about 20mins away from it being true of me - and it’s a Friday. What’s with that? Fridays should be the kind of day you end with a beer or snacks sitting around talking about how great you did this week. Not the kind of day where you’re writing frantically to get in before the deadline that (probably could be moved) is never going to be moved.

You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to go out - run for about 10m until I’m exhausted and collapse in a heap finally relaxing from muscle fatigue. Well - that’s what I would do if I could be bothered standing up.

As you would realise because you are a devoted reader and you love posting comments (hint hint) this is a weekend competition.
