» angry | One Dollar Jackpot - 25 Words or Less Competition

It’s 5pm and after a busy day you’re tired, hungry and feeling agitated what are you going to do?

That’s today’s Jackpot. I’m about 20mins away from it being true of me - and it’s a Friday. What’s with that? Fridays should be the kind of day you end with a beer or snacks sitting around talking about how great you did this week. Not the kind of day where you’re writing frantically to get in before the deadline that (probably could be moved) is never going to be moved.

You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to go out - run for about 10m until I’m exhausted and collapse in a heap finally relaxing from muscle fatigue. Well - that’s what I would do if I could be bothered standing up.

As you would realise because you are a devoted reader and you love posting comments (hint hint) this is a weekend competition.

Here in my home town there are lots of people who cross the road without looking, without stopping to see if there’s cars - and expect that they should be fine at the end of it.

Nicole is the winner after she piqued my interest with this little response to what made her angry the most. Do you agree?

I still want to know what people find most annoying - there’s some annoying guy (right now) sitting behind me now not letting me type - does that get you annoyed? The other guy sitting behind me in silence says ‘he’s a real douche’. We all laugh and agree.

Nicole - enjoy your dollar, I’m designing album cover for a band right now - it’s going to be a pretty good album. You might be able to buy one of their songs with that dollar and not spend it all at once.

You know those emails you get when someone thinks, ‘hey I could win a trip to Disney World just by forwarding this email’? Those emails make me angry.

You know when radio announcers start talking with a laugh although nothing funny has happened? Those people make me angry.

You know those times when people have websites but they never finish them? They put in a whole bunch of ‘under construction‘ signs (that they’ve spent way too long finding) on the site and hope you’ll come back? That makes me angry - although I’m going to show you what I mean because they also fascinate me… in an angry way. See below for awesome signs to put on your website.
