There will be competitions at your workplace including ‘Work all day with 25 interruptions or less’ and ‘get to work earliest - get a $1 bonus’. Who are you to resist?!
Jay has only some resistance - his ‘day’ will be:
‘Save a card’ day - a day when you must send no greetings cards (that’s one in the eye for Hallmark)
And I reckon along with that you might want to include giant cards passed around the office those things are a health hazard as they take up so much of your energy just trying to think of the least lame thing you can say to that co-worker you have never spoken to.
Derek however has decided for a simple day - it’s a great idea Derek. I’m thinking of instituting it here every day.

I hate morning people
I’m an unwilling morning person, my wife has gotten me to talk almost every morning of our marriage (not a bad thing). I used to be able to get up and go to work/uni with about 2hrs of non-spokenness in the morning. Oh bliss!

I don’t understand what would be scary about a ceramic bunny… maybe ‘husband’ doesn’t either? If you want to scare me I just suggest you talk to Tom - he would probably scare you just by talking. Or maybe he would try to drink your saliva. Tom you’re still the grossest man in the world:

Why should I? I don’t know you - you’re probably just going to steal something from me - I have no interest in you anyway I just want to stare out the window and think about how awesome my life is - anyway I don’t like morning people.

Oh - that’s a good idea actually! And you know what? It wins today’s jackpot because Benjamin has struck me with something I actually like. It’s like The 40hr Famine (or however your country says it) except you give your normal food costs yourself. That’d be some pretty good money right there.
Congratulations Benjamin - your earning through $1J today has now put you above some of the poorest 1 billion people in the world. Less than $1 a day for most of them. Now that’s what I call poor.
