When I Was Five I Was Most Alive

Mitchell says (and wins with):

Five was the time,
I played out the back,
Till the sun went down,
We’d return to the shack.

Oh those were the days indeed! I think most of the time I was at school - a place I loved to be. I’d relish going to the canteen (tuck shop?) and buying a 20c iceblock during lunch time. Or when my mum came on to canteen we’d be able to spend something like $2! Woohoo! ALL THE MONEY YOU WOULD EVER NEED!

You could buy anything with $2. I don’t know why that guy at school used to get $50 pocket money every week - that’s just crazy.

Here’s a question for those who care, would you believe me if I said that the youngest person to ever have a child was a 5 year old?

That brings back some memories. But in my day I would by a double cut vegemite roll and a Snip for 75 cents.
